American Civil Liberties Union’s Immigrants’ Rights Project

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is the largest public interest law firm in the United States, working daily in courts, legislatures, and communities to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties. It was founded in 1920.

Unbound has funded the ACLU since 2009. We support the ACLU’s Immigrants’ Rights Project (IRP) to engage in strategic litigation to challenge unconstitutional immigration enforcement practices, especially at the state and local levels; to support advocacy efforts to limit local and state law enforcement agency’s role in immigration enforcement; and to protect the rights of Dreamers and immigrants granted deferred action.
